Power to will,do and persist-overcome spiritual negligence

Ooh God,Lord Almighty,I pray that you always give me the power to will,do and persist in all that I am supposed to according to your will.

Give me the power to overcome any kind of spiritual as well as physical negligence in my life and be able to play my spiritual as well as physical positions with all the Authority from you God properly making your Name Glorified forever whilst persisting in your loving care and relation.

In Jesus Christ I pray,AMEN.

Prayer For God's people

Come to our aid, O God of the universe,
look upon us, show us the light of your mercies,
and put all the nations in dread of you!
Thus they will know, as we know,
that there is no God but you, O Lord.

Give new signs and work new wonders.

Gather all the tribes of Jacob,
that they may inherit the land as of old,
Show mercy to the people called by your name;
Israel, whom you named your firstborn.
Take pity on your holy city,
Jerusalem, your dwelling place.
Fill Zion with your majesty,
your temple with your glory.

Give evidence of your deeds of old;
fulfill the prophecies spoken in your name,
Reward those who have hoped in you,
and let your prophets be proved true.
Hear the prayer of your servants,
for you are ever gracious to your people;
and lead us in the way of justice.
Thus it will be known to the very ends of the earth
that you are the eternal God.

Praying for purity

Lord,I pray for the Gift of purity in my life,in my husband's life,in my children,my family and relatives,in marriages and for the youth and Church in general! Your Grace ooh Lord is our satisfactory and we know that we can do all good things,all that you want us to do and be all you want us to be in Christ who strenghtens us in Jesus name !

Give me Wisdom God,Lord of Mercy

God of my ancestors, Lord of mercy,you who have made all things by your word

And in your wisdom have established humankind to rule the creatures produced by you,

And to govern the world in holiness and righteousness,and to render judgment in integrity of heart:

Give me Wisdom, the consort at your throne,and do not reject me from among your children;

For I am your servant, the child of your maidservant,a man weak and short-lived

and lacking in comprehension of judgment and of laws.Indeed, though one be perfect among mortals,

if Wisdom, who comes from you, be lacking,that one will count for nothing.You have chosen me king over your people and magistrate over your sons and daughters.You have bid me build a temple on your holy mountain and an altar in the city that is your dwelling place,a copy of the holy tabernacle which you had established from of old.Now with you is Wisdom, who knows your works

and was present when you made the world;Who understands what is pleasing in your eyes

and what is conformable with your commands.Send her forth from your holy heavens

and from your glorious throne dispatch her That she may be with me and work with me,

that I may know what is pleasing to you.For she knows and understands all things,

and will guide me prudently in my affairs and safeguard me by her glory;Thus my deeds will be acceptable,

and I will judge your people justly and be worthy of my father’s throne.For who knows God’s counsel,

or who can conceive what the Lord intends? For the deliberations of mortals are timid,and uncertain our plans.For the corruptible body burdens the soul and the earthly tent weighs down the mind with its many concerns.Scarcely can we guess the things on earth,and only with difficulty grasp what is at hand;but things in heaven, who can search them out?Or who can know your counsel, unless you give Wisdom and send your holy spirit from on high?Thus were the paths of those on earth made straight,and people learned what pleases you,and were saved by Wisdom. Wisdom 9:1-18

Prayer of Spirit of conviction and understanding

Lord God,as the way the church got filled by the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost and they could speak about Jesus in ways that those who were with them understood as it says in Acts 2:4,7-8  "And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues,as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.".

 We pray that this Pentecost,we may be filled more and more with the Holy Spirit so that we can be able to speak and preach to peoples lives in ways that all will be able to understand no matter what their backgrounds are or what they already know or what they don't know for your glory o Lord God,according to your will,in Jesus name. AMEN.
